Not a medical service

Weighloom records and organizes data that you choose to enter. It does not diagnose disease, predict health outcomes, or provide treatment or individualized diet plans. Ask a qualified healthcare professional about rapid weight changes, dehydration, diet, medication interactions, or other health concerns.

For acute discomfort or an emergency, contact local emergency services immediately. Do not rely on this app for emergency medical decisions.

BMI and weight trends

BMI is an adult population-level reference based on height and weight. It does not directly measure an individual’s body fat, nutrition status, or disease. The app uses Chinese adult reference ranges and also links to World Health Organization background information. It is intended for adults aged 18 and older and is not appropriate for minors, pregnancy, or certain other groups.

Weight trends, seven-day smoothing, period comparisons, and the personal fluctuation baseline only describe recorded data. They do not predict weight-loss speed or health risk.

Hydration and food information

Hydration goals and progress are user-configured tracking tools, not medical prescriptions. Individual fluid needs vary with age, climate, exercise, diet, pregnancy, kidney or heart conditions, medication, and other factors.

Calories per 100 g in the Healthy Food Guide are general references. Actual values vary by variety, brand, ripeness, and cooking method. Cautions are limited to evidence-based allergen, medication-interaction, preparation, and special-population issues rather than unsupported food-combination claims.

Recording weight

For more comparable long-term records, weigh yourself under similar conditions where practical, such as using the same scale at a similar time and in similar clothing. A single-day change can reflect hydration, meals, or measurement conditions and should not be the sole basis for a medical or dietary decision.

Sources

Relevant in-app screens also place source links next to the health information they support.

Data safety

Weight, hydration, and Apple Health results are processed on device and are not uploaded to a developer server. Exported backups can contain health-related information. Store them only in trusted locations and never attach them to a public support request.
